Sig Guy, LLC Policies & Procedures
Return Policy & Return Information
Return Policy & Guidelines
At Sigguy.com, we strive to process and ship your orders accurately and efficiently. Please review our return guidelines below.
1. Errors on Our Part: If we accidentally ship an item not listed on your invoice, please contact us immediately through our contact us page here.
- Do not open, use, or install the incorrect item.
- We will ship the correct item to you immediately.
- We will include a prepaid return label and packaging so you can send the incorrect item back to us.
2. Return Process & RMA Requirement
- RMA Required: All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. You must contact us FIRST to initiate a return.
- Unauthorized Returns: Packages sent without an issued RMA number will not be accepted. If you want the items back, you will be responsible for the return shipping cost.
- Approved Items Only: Only the specific items discussed and approved for the RMA are eligible for a refund. Any extra, unapproved items included in the package will not receive credit, and you must pay return shipping to have them sent back to you.
3. Condition of Returned Items: To be eligible for a return, items must be brand new, unused, and in their original, undamaged packaging. We cannot accept returns for items that show any signs of installation or use.
- Factory Sealed Items: SIG Sauer factory parts or any products in factory-sealed packaging that have been cut or ripped open cannot be returned.
- Damaged or Missing Items: Any item not in its original condition, missing parts, or featuring damaged/missing packaging is ineligible for a return. If received in this condition, you must pay return shipping to get the item back.
4. Time Limits & Timeframes: Our return window is strictly 30 days from the delivery date. After 30 days, we cannot accept returns for any reason. Please inspect all items immediately upon delivery to ensure your order is correct.
5. Fees, Refunds, and Exchanges
- Store Credit Only: All approved refunds are issued solely as store credit applied directly to your Sigguy.com account. We do not issue cash or credit card refunds.
- How to Use Credit: Your store credit will appear on the checkout page as a payment method option right below the credit card fields. You must be signed in using the same login information used when the order was placed for the store credit to show up on the checkout page. You can also view your balance in your profile by clicking the user icon on the top right menu bar.
- Restocking Fee: A 20% restocking fee applies to all customer-initiated returns. This fee is waived only if the return is due to an error on our part.
- No Exchanges: To keep our live inventory numbers 100% accurate, we do not process direct exchanges. If you need a different item, your return will be processed for store credit (minus the 20% restocking fee), which you can use to place a new order.
6. Return Shipping & Tracking
- Shipping Costs: You are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the error was ours (in which case we will email you a prepaid label). Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Tracking Mandatory: You must use a shipping method that provides tracking information, and you must share that tracking number with us. You are responsible for monitoring the shipment. We are not responsible for packages that are lost or damaged in transit to us.
- RMA Placement: Please clearly write or include your RMA number inside the packaging.
Return Shipping Address:
Sig Guy, LLC
PO Box 12
Fremont, NH 03044
Order Cancellation Policy
Please review your order carefully before submitting. Once an order is placed, the following terms apply to cancellations:
- Standard Cancellations: A 5% fee will be applied to any order canceled after submission. This fee covers non-refundable credit card processing fees and is only waived if the cancellation is due to an error on our part.
- Processed Orders: If your order has already been picked, packed, or labeled, a higher cancellation fee may apply to cover the cost of wasted packaging and shipping materials.
Item(s) Missing / Incorrect item(s)
If your order isn't correct or something is missing, we will fix it immediately.
- Incorrect items: Please snap a quick photo of the item you received and send it to us via our website's contact us page found here. This helps us update our team and prevent it from happening again.
- Missing items: We record a video of every order we pack to ensure accuracy. Before reaching out, please double-check the packaging material. Small items are often attached to your packing slip or nestled safely inside the packing peanuts.
Product Functionality & Warranty Support
If a product you received does not fit properly or appears to be defective, please contact the product's manufacturer directly for troubleshooting and warranty support. To help explain why this is the most efficient path forward, please keep the following in mind:
- Manufacturer Policy: Direct contact is a standard policy required by all of the manufacturers we partner with. This is their policy not ours.
- Expert Troubleshooting: The manufacturer's engineering and technical support teams are the ultimate experts on their specific products. They are best equipped to identify the exact cause of any issue.
- Direct Communication: The manufacturer will need specific, hands-on details about your exact setup that only you can provide.
- Quality Control Tracking: Manufacturers track these cases closely to identify potential batch or production line issues. Sending an identical replacement from our inventory often results in the exact same issue if a broader production error is at play.
We only partner with brands that maintain exceptional customer service standards. Please visit the specific manufacturer's website to find their support contact channels.
Our Commitment to You: If you run into any issues or challenges while dealing with a manufacturer regarding a warranty or defect, please contact us immediately using out contact page here. We are always here to step in and help advocate for you.
Shipping Insurance & Lost Packages
Shipping insurance strictly protects your package in transit from our facility to the shipping address you provided.
- Theft After Delivery: Insurance does not cover theft once the package has been successfully delivered to your address. It is your responsibility to ensure your delivery location is a secure location.
- Secure Delivery Option: If your address is a shared or public space (like an office building), we highly recommend adding a Signature Requirement. To request this, please leave a note in the comments section on the checkout screen.
Scenario A: You DID NOT purchase additional Sig Guy shipping Insurance here.
- USPS Standard Coverage: All standard USPS shipments automatically include up to $100 of insurance. If the package is deemed lost, USPS will reimburse the total value of the order or $100, whichever is the smaller amount.
- Carrier Responsibility: The shipping fee on your invoice goes directly to USPS. Sig Guy, LLC is not the courier; USPS takes full legal and physical responsibility for your package once it arrives at their facility.
Scenario B: You DID purchase Additional Shipping Insurance through Sigguy.com
- Replacements Sent: If USPS officially verifies in writing that the package is lost after the claim investigation finishes, we will ship identical replacement items to you. A refund is not an option. We will send a replacement order only.
- No Refunds/Store Credit: We only issue store credit for insured losses if a specific replacement item is completely out of stock. Otherwise, physical replacements will be shipped.
Package Delayed / Stuck /Stopped Moving
Because the package is currently in transit, the United States Postal Service is the only organization with direct access to your shipment. We highly recommend contacting your local post office directly for the quickest assistance. Providing them with your tracking number will allow their local team to look up the exact real-time delivery status and help locate your package.
You can find your local post office and their direct contact details by using the official USPS Find Locations Tool.
Delivery Attempts & Returned Shipments Policy
If your tracking status seems incorrect or your package is
being returned to us, please review the guidelines below to help resolve the
issue.
1. Verifying Status with Your Local Post Office
We highly recommend contacting your local post office
immediately to check if a delivery attempt was made. It is quite common for
automated tracking statuses to show a delay or not perfectly reflect the actual
location of your package. If the post office is still holding your package, you
can easily arrange for a redelivery or visit their facility to pick it up in
person.
2. Address Accuracy & Carrier Delivery
We ship all orders exactly as they are entered by the
customer. When a package is marked "Return to Sender," it is typically due to insufficient or incorrect address data.
- Delivery Routes: If the postal carrier cannot locate your delivery point, the address is deemed incorrect by the carrier.
- Local Delivery Issues: If you verified that your address is accurate but the carrier still cannot deliver, please contact your local post office to ensure they know how to access your specific location.
3. Watch Out for Browser Auto-Fill
When entering your checkout information, please double-check your shipping details carefully. Web browser auto-fill features frequently insert outdated or incorrect addresses without your knowledge. It is always best to verify the complete address is correct before final submission.
4. Return to Sender Restocking & Refund Policy
Once a package is safely returned to our facility by the carrier, we will issue store credit for the amount paid for the physical products.
- Shipping Fees: Original shipping fees go directly to the carrier and are non-refundable.
- Repurchasing:
If you still wish to receive the items, you will need to place a new order on our website with a verified shipping address and complete the checkout process again.
Managing Address Errors & Order Tracking
Once you place an order, you will receive two automated emails to help you track your shipment: an Order Confirmation and a Shipping Notification (sent as soon as your label is printed).
Because we print shipping labels using the exact information you provide at checkout, we cannot detect if an address is incorrect or incomplete. Please review both emails carefully to confirm your shipping details are accurate. If you notice an error, notify us IMMEDIATELY so we can manually update the address before your package leaves our facility.
Once the United States Postal Service (USPS) takes physical possession of your package, we cannot stop or alter the delivery. If your package was shipped to an incorrect address, you have three options to handle the situation:
Option 1: Place a new order immediately
If you need your items without delay, you can submit a brand-new order on our website with the correct address. If the original, incorrectly addressed package is eventually returned to our shop by the carrier, we will issue store credit to your account for the cost of the products. Please note that original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Option 2: Wait for the package to return to sender
You can choose to wait and see if USPS returns the package to us. Once it safely arrives back at our warehouse, we will issue store credit for the value of the products. If you still want the items, you will then need to place a new order on our website and pay shipping expenses again.
Option 3: Request a USPS Package Intercept®
For a fee, we can use the automated USPS Package Intercept® Tool to redirect domestic shipments that are already in transit, provided they are not yet out for delivery or successfully delivered. This service allows us to stop delivery or reroute the package back to our facility. We can initiate this request online directly through the official USPS Intercept Page. This is a service you will have to pay for. We will initiate the process after the invoice we send you is paid in full.
High-Value Order Shipping & Signature
To ensure the security of your purchase, we automatically add a Signature Requirement to all orders over $250. This safeguard protects both your investment and our business from transit issues.
What if I am not available to sign?
If you will not be home during delivery, we highly recommend contacting your local post office to request a Mail Hold. USPS will securely hold your package at their facility, allowing you to sign for and collect it in person at your earliest convenience.
Can I waive the signature requirement?
To ensure the security of your items, we do not allow the signature requirement to be waived on orders valued over $250.
While we understand this may occasionally be inconvenient, this policy is strictly enforced to protect your high-value purchase from theft, mis-delivery, and loss during transit. Because transit carriers will not honor insurance claims for high-value items left unattended, a physical signature is mandatory to verify delivery.
Delivery Options if You Are Away:
If you are unavailable to sign for your package when delivery is attempted, you can easily manage the shipment through the carrier:
- Hold for Pickup: Contact your local post office or use your tracking link to request a Mail Hold. The carrier will secure your package at their local facility, allowing you to pick it up and sign for it at your convenience.
- Reschedule Delivery: You can use the carrier's online tracking portal to request a delivery attempt on a different calendar day when you know someone will be present.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping us ensure your premium upgrades arrive safely into your hands.
