The DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System is a direct replacement for the stock recoil rod and does not change the configuration of the pistol. 

Included with the system are 3 Spring Plugs and 3 External Springs   so the user can fine-tune the weapon for his/hers personal standards. The long spring (more coils) is stronger and has a heavier pound rating than the shorter spring.

The spring plug must always be installed when the DPM Recoil Rod and springs are used.

Slide in the battery (idle position)

• Short: 3.7 kg / 8.1 lbs
• Medium: 4 kg / 8.8 lbs
• Long: 4.3 kg / 9.4 lbs

Total power (slide in full open position)

• Short Plug: 18 lbs approx.
• Medium Plug: 22 lbs approx.
• Long Plug: 24 lbs approx.
